5 amazing ways on How to cure your boredom!


Ever been so bored that you’ve done nothing but stare at a brick wall. A lot off people will be very bored at the moment, because of what’s going on I the world right now but don’t worry I can help. Here’s 5 things on how to cure your boredom.

1.     Do some crafts. Crafting is really fun, and it can keep you busy for a while, you could make a present for someone, make some room decorations or just some things for yourself. If you don’t know ho to craft or make things, you can find videos on YouTube or you can follow these instructions for a craft called a paper squishy!

How to make a paper squishy!
Step one = take a piece of paper and fold it in half.
Step 2 = draw your design on the paper and colour it in, if you want.
Step 3 = cover the whole thing in tape (front back and sides). Make sure the sides are sealed to, but leave the bottom open.
Step 4 = stuff the squishy with anything, you can use plastic bags, pillow stuffing, tissue paper, toilet roll or even paper.
Step 5 = Once stuffed, tape up the bottom so its like a 3D square.
Step 6 = tape up any air holes to make it more slow rising.
Now you have a paper squishy!

2.       Do some baking. If you are able to bake and have the ingredients for what you want to make then baking is really fun and you can stuff your face with your after result!

How to bake cookies!
Step 1 = preheat the oven to 180 degrees or gas mark 4.
Step 2 = cream 100 grams of light brown sugar, 125 grams of caster sugar and 125 grams of butter.
Step 3 = sift in 225 grams of self-raising flour and half a tea spoon of salt.
Step 4 = add in 100 grams of chocolate chips.
Step 5 = roll the dough into equal sized balls depending on how big you want them.
Step 6 = place them on a tray and cook for 7 minutes or longer, if needed.
Step 7 = take them out of the oven and leave them to cool and harden, then eat them!

     Organise your room or reorganise your room, I know this sounds boring, but when your really bored nothings boring. Just spend 20 minutes or longer sorting your room out, cleaning your room can keep you organised and it’s also fun to see the result when it’s done!

4.   Watch some TV or start a new series. Watching TV is really fun but when there is nothing to watch it can be annoying. Here are some of my favourite series that I highly recommend!

I’m not okay with this.

Gossip girl.
Anne with an E.
Never have I ever.
Alexa and Katie.
Series of unfortunate events.

5.       Make a fort/den. If your having a chill day, you can grab some blankets and pillows and make a fort. You can put some lights up and set up your phone or computer, grab some snack and watch Netflix or whatever in there. You can also invite a sibling to come chill with you too!
