6 amazing clear skin hacks!



Ever woke up with a massive spot on your face, or smudged/leftover makeup from the day before, oily skin or clogged pores, (well i know I have) but don’t worry I’m going to share my top 6 tips on how to keep your skin clear and healthy!

1.       Don’t sleep with your makeup on. I know its annoying to have to wipe you makeup of your face every night, but it will really help your skin.  Sleeping with makeup on can cause irritation to your skin which leads to red puffy eyes, mascara rubbing into your eyes and clogged pores. If you do forget to take your makeup off before sleep, then wipe it off immediately in the morning. Don’t try re-purposing it into another makeup look.

2.       Use face masks. Some people say that using face masks are bad for your skin but really, they are hydrating and provide a long-lasting effect on the skin. BUT only use them once a week and make sure that it is a proper face mask brand. I recommend reading some reviews on the one you want first other wise you could end up with really irritated skin and rashes on your face.

3.       Use a facial toner. Every night before bed use a facial toner. After wiping of your makeup apply some facial toner to a cotton pad and wipe it on the area of your skin where you get pores,spots or acne most. Facial toner help remove excess dirt, makeup and oils. It also helps control your acne and balances the PH of your skin.

4.       Look for oil free products. Using oil free products stops your skin looking oily and shiny. It also helps your skin to feel fresh and not covered in oil. If you already have oily skin, I recommend checking your products to see if there oil free.

5.       Wash your face before bed. Washing your face before bed helps you feel more refreshed. Its also helps to remove and dirt, sweat and makeup. Not only that but it prevents you from getting breakouts.

6.       Take care of your diet. This one is really important because if you eat lots of sugar and junk food it can cause breakouts and acne.
